Squash

Ask yourself a few questions.

Am I struggling to dig the ball out of the corners?

A thinner multifilament  string will give you a lot more "zip" out of the corners and will power the ball around the court as there is a lot more elasticity within the string. However , as it is thinner, it will still "cut" into the ball for the required control.

Power is not a problem, but can I get more control?

A rougher string will "grip " the ball , providing more spin as you angle your racquet, which in turn will help you place the ball.

It is worth pointing out that if you slice the ball too much, the strings will move and lead to early breakage.

Allow for this when choosing you strings.
